Swell Eco Lodge South Africa offers catering accommodation in the Transkei – Wild Coast, ideal for couples, groups and families. within the rolling hills of Mngcibe (North side of the Mdumbi River), we invite you to enjoy pure relaxation and fun while supporting a green way of life.

Our lodge is made up of traditional Rondavel structures which blendits beautiful surroundings and our interiors are modern, calming and artistic.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 10:00.

Please note that the property is located in a rural area, accessible via a 47 km gravel road.

In case you havent received any travel directions from the property, guests are advised to contact them. Kindly provide them with the direction you are travelling from so they can send the best possible route to the property.

Guests are advised to arrive at the lodge before nightfall as to avoid travelling on the gravel road at night.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Comfort Dormitory Room. Situated in original rondavels, these units open up onto the garden and feature en suite bathrooms. The shared kitchen offers sea views and a living area and is equipped with a gas stove, oven, freezer and fridge. ***THIS RONDAVEL IS FULL BOARD ONLY - YOU CANNOT SELF-CATER IN THIS PARTICULAR ROOM*** Our Sea View Rondavel is a quaint, traditional Xhosa style Rondavel with a small deck out the front with a sea view. ROOMUNIT LAYOUT: Each bedroom has a king-sized bed A small double bed sleeper couch will be setup next to the main bed for one child. En-suite open plan toilet with a gas shower. INCLUDED: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Mini Fridge in the room Tea & Coffee Station. Bath towels are provided. Eco friendly guest amenities are provided. Room will be serviced every day. ;
Double or Twin Room with Bathroom. This sea facing chalets have sea views and a spacious deck. They feature an open plan living and BBQ facilities. Guests in this chalet have access to a shared kitchen with gas oven, stove, freezer and fridge. There is an extra a double sleeper couch in the chalet. Please note that the price is based on 1 or 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 4 (see property Policies). ;
Deluxe Family Suite. This unit has a loft bedroom upstairs and a smaller bedroom downstairs with 1 bathroom and an open plan kitchen and lounge. The unit offers sea views and a large deck. ;
Standard Dormitory Room. Guests will have a special experience as this dormitory room features a pool with a view. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the well-equipped kitchen. The dormitory room also has a barbecue. The dormitory room offers a private entrance, a tea and coffee maker, a balcony with sea views as well as a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The unit offers 3 beds. ;
Standard Chalet. This chalet provides a pool with a view. The chalet features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the fully equipped kitchen. The chalet also provides guests with a barbecue.
